The Apply First Aid Course (HLTFA301C),provides you with the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR, provide first aid, life support, management of casualty(s), identify risks on site, until the arrival of medical assistance.

This unit incorporates the content of units:

• Perform CPR (HLTCPR201B)
• Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTFA201B)

It is important for every person to be accredited with HLTFA301C – Apply First Aid certificate and be aware of the correct procedures to follow in an emergency. The course content includes practical, theory and assessment.

CPR has to be updated yearly!

Assessments

Assessments you will need to do in order to be competent are:

1. Short questions (Workbook) <need to be completed before coming to class>
2. Multiple Choice (Examination) <will be done on the class time>
3. Practical observation <will be done on the class time>

Learning Mode

Students have to do readings and assignments 7 days before the actual day of the course. There is a one day for practical in our offices, and comprises of classroom based learning and demonstration. On Successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate of attainment:
