- Demonstration of bed making and using a hoist

It is significant to note that around a quarter of all workplace injuries are caused by manual handling.
Course Details
What kinds of injuries can result from manual handling?
- muscle sprains and strains
- injuries to muscles, ligaments, intervertebral discs and other structures in the back
- injuries to soft tissues such as nerves, ligaments and tendons in the wrists, arms, shoulders, neck or leg
- abdominal hernias
