Elluminate Live Class

JTI is committed to always be at the forefront of technology and with that in mind we have started Elluminate Live Class for Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30208) and Certificate III in Home and Community Care (CHC30308) which are in the new community services training package (CHC08). The classess will be held every Monday evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EST).

Prior to the session please prepare yourself for the JTI Live Class by going through the
steps below:

To prepare for the session (ASAP):
1. Please go to www.elluminate.com/support and follow the 3 step process which may require you to download Sun Microsystem’s Java Web Start or OpenJNLP for Mac if you don’t already have it; a pre-requisite JTI Live class! You only need to do this once, prior to the first time you use JTI Live class!
2. Then go to the Configuration Room in Step 2 within the support page to test and finalise the installation; including the set-up of your audio devices. Once into the room, there will be instructions on the whiteboard about setting up your audio &speakers
3. We strongly recommend using PC headsets or echo cancellation microphone/speakers with in JTI Live! for the highest quality experience; though these are not mandatory.

Workshop for Online Student

This is just the friendly reminder that we will be having FREE online workshop session every first Saturday of every month in Glen Waverley Branch (VIC).

All online students must attend at least one orientation workshop.

During orientation sessions we will cover:
1. Personal care- demonstrating how to shower, shave, feeding etc.
2. There will be live demonstrations of manual handling.
3. You will learn how to make a bed with a client in it (yes, this one is a unisex workshop)
4. You will learn how to take BSL, Blood pressure, Urine analysis etc
5. Hands on activities with Medication
6. Answer any questions that you have regarding your workbooks.
7. You can get assistance with the online system (all your questions will be answered)

In this session, we also welcome you to bring any friends that want to join our course, and if they sign up on the day, you will be eligible to receive $50 Safeway voucher*
